Collaboration with Faculties
The Disability Office collaborates closely with UZH faculties in the area of «Studying and Disability», aiming to support students with disabilities or chronic illnesses so they can focus on their studies. The collaboration primarily involves:
- Recommendations for accommodations, see also Reasonable adjustments for students with disabilities or chronic illnesses
- Faculty consultation on issues related to «Studying and Disability», including the FAQ (in German).
PhD Students with Disabilities and/or Chronic Illnesses
PhD students with disabilities and/or chronic illnesses are entitled to accommodations during their doctoral studies. They can seek advice from the Disability Office. Employees with Disabilities and/or Chronic Illnesses
Employees with disabilities and/or chronic illnesses can seek advice and support from the Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion department.
This department also provides various services related to working with disabilities, including internal information and awareness programs, consultations for faculty and leadership, and testing and feedback on digital accessibility.
